چکیده
We report the results of studies of the effects of annealing conditions on the morphology of ferroelectric nanomesas. The nanomesa patterns were fabricated by self-assembly from continuous ultra-thin Langmuir–Blodgett fi lms of copolymers of vinylidene fl uoride and trifl uoroethylene. Annealing in the paraelectric phase induced surface reorganization into disc-shaped ferroelectric nanomesas approximately 9 nm thick and 100 nm in diameter. Several factors affect the nanomesa dimensions, such as polymer composition, substrate material, deposition conditions, and annealing temperature. The height and diameter of the nanomesas both increase with increasing annealing temperature. Annealing studies in the ferroelectric–paraelectric coexistence region show that only the paraelectric phase is mobile. From this we conclude that the paraelectric phase supports a kind of plastic crystalline fl ow connected with dynamic disorder of the poly-

A simple nanoimprinting method creates arrays of ferroelectric polymer structures suitable for low-cost, non-volatile memories. With the development of nanoimprinted high-quality ferroelectric nanomesa arrays, it seems that we now have all the necessary ingredients to print inexpensive, disposable organic memory chips. متن کاملInfluence of the substrate surface on the self-assembly of ferroelectric PbTiO3 nanostructures obtained by microemulsion assisted Chemical Solution Deposition
The achievement of long range periodicity of ferroelectric nanostructures on substrates remains as a challenge in the processing of devices by the relatively inexpensive selfassembly methods. To this aim, here we make the proposal of processing strategies involving commercial single-crystal SrTiO3(100) substrate surface treatment. The topography, global ordering and crystal symmetry of the surf...

This research presents a new application of the cloud theory-based simulated annealing algorithm to solve mixed model assembly line sequencing problems where line stoppage cost is expected to be optimized. This objective is highly significant in mixed model assembly line sequencing problems based on just-in-time production system. Moreover, this type of problem is NP-hard and solving this probl...
متن کاملSimultaneous Multi-Skilled Worker Assignment and Mixed-Model Two-Sided Assembly Line Balancing
This paper addresses a multi-objective mathematical model for the mixed-model two-sided assembly line balancing and worker assignment with different skills. In this problem, the operation time of each task is dependent on the skill of the worker. The following objective functions are considered in the mathematical model: (1) minimizing the number of mated-stations (2), minimizing the number of ...
